What Can Corella

What Can Corella

Today on the Internet and in various books you can find a lot of information about what can be Corella. Someone is convinced that almost everything is possible, someone on the contrary believes that Corell needs to be limited from many things. So, relying on Internet sources: forums, sites, books, and of course personal experience, I offer a list of what Corolla can do (all components are tested by personal experience and in reasonable dosages will not harm the nymph). I also make a reservation that there is very little scientific research in this area, so all the myths and the truth about the nutrition of Corell are born from practice, therefore I propose to use this information as food for thought, and not as absolute truth. The list was formed on the principle that everything potentially harmful, dangerous and useless for Corell was removed ”

So, let’s go that can be Corella

1. Grain mix
I recommend feeding Corell with the Padovan Natural Mix mixture, I feed my parrots with this particular feed until a poor-quality grain is found. Low-quality grain is determined by smell, taste and germination. The smell is pleasant, the grain should smell like grain, not damp, not mold. The taste is sweetish, not rancid. How to grow grain, you can read in a separate article.

2. Egg
By far one of the most nutritious feeds for Corell. Boiled steep, given in small portions. All information on dosages is collected in the article ideal daily diet.

3. Germinated grain
The same grain mixture, only germinated. Grain during germination greatly changes its nutritional properties and becomes very useful for birds.

4. Fish oil
Legends are written about its benefits, most of them are similar to the truth. I recommend adding fish oil directly to the grain mixture once a week in two drops (fish oil for cats and dogs, by the way, is no different from fish oil for birds)

5. Shell
After cooking, the egg is cleaned, the shell is dried dry, after which you can mash / crush it with a spoon in a plate and chop it by hand

6. Apple
The first most popular fruit in most parrot breeders contains vitamins, as you know.

7. Leaf lettuce
– greens available in the winter months

8. Grass grown from the feed mixture
It is extracted elementarily, a grain pre-soaked for a day is thrown into a pot / basin with ground, and watered abundantly until sprouts appear (about a week or two), after which it is given to the birds without land. Usually, if the grain turns sour during germination, it is thrown into the ground in order to grow green

9. Carrots
Very popular food, is given a piece, on a grater, or under the guise of a toy strung on something. The tops of carrots can also go to feed for nymphs.

10. Bananas
A fairly nutritious food, it is recommended in small quantities for Corell, do not believe the tales of harmfulness.

11. Fruit and berry exotic
Berries (cherries, cherries, strawberries, currants, raspberries, cranberries), pineapple, kiwi.

12. Zucchini
Also, do not believe fairy tales about the harmfulness, if they eat, give in small quantities

13. Citrus
Oranges, tangerines, lemons, grapefruits

14. Bell pepper, chili pepper
Some Corellas love him very much, some even eat chili. Is it possible to give chilli to the corals? It’s possible and necessary, it’s useful for them, they don’t feel acuity do not worry 🙂

This list is quite enough to feed your corelka, please treat everything wisely and carefully and you will not harm the parrot.
